I just found out via drudgereport that apparently the World Baseball Classic is having a little Cuban crisis. Some guy at a Cuban vs. Netherlands game held up a sign that said "Down with Fidel" and pissed off the entire Cuban team as well as several Cuban officials that were present. "Puerto Rican police quickly intervened and took the Cuban official... to a nearby police station where they lectured him about free speech." Now that's funny, but also kind of depressing - it must suck to live in Cuba. Imagine having no freedom to do or think how you want to and a communist dictator for a "leader". I can kinda understand why someone would float on a wooden raft for days just to reach florida...

Here's the big news of the day - Dubai has canceled its port takeover. This issue upsets me as I always supported the business deal and felt that national security was never an issue. However, anti-Islamic assholes decided to show their racism once again. Dubai is not a terrorist country and therefore any company from that nation should not be boycotted. By stopping the port deal, America has once again torn apart the west and east, further escalating the cultural conflict. Fuck politicians - sometimes they get their head so far up their party's asses that they forget who their are supposed to represent.

So i saw Brokeback Mountain yesterday - once you get past the disturbing gay sex it really isnt that bad of a movie. It really isn't that great either, and that's why I'm happy that Crash won the Oscar for Best Picture. Crash was a moving film with interweaving characters all dealing with modern day racism - it truly was the best movie of the year. I think the only reason why Brokeback won so many awards was because it was a gay movie and people wanted to make a attention grabbing move. Munich should have gotten Best Music....

I have so many ppl to thank for this award.....

The Oscars are on tonight and i'm getting really excited - I consider myself an amatuer film connoisseur. So i happened to stumble across Ann Coulter's predictions for the Oscar winners. Wut an 'effin dumbass - all her predictions are based on closed minded, hardcore republican / christian stereotypes and beliefs. Funny to read tho....

So i have another funny quote - my sis offended my dad's masculinity so he replied, "Wut'd you expect? I've git no balls cuz i've been married for 23 years!"
